🎓 I Launched Shortcuts University! Then Un-Launched It

For a long time I've wanted to offer an extensive course for those wanting to learn how to build Shortcuts. So I planned the lessons, invested the time, built a 13-week cohort where I host weekly live sessions, assign projects, and the recordings are available forever.

Early bird price was $500, which included a 1-year membership to my community. I posted the first "lesson" for free today on my channel as part of the announcement.

People were not happy.

Some said, "This must be a joke," others called me greedy, and a few said they even unsubscribed because of it.

Maybe it's because I'm independent, but that kind of reaction feels risky to my business. Maybe I made a mistake with the pricing, but it also felt like all the Shortcuts content I gave away for years suddenly amounted to nothing. That's sad.
