Sync Your iPod with My Free App
I wanted to know if I could vibe code an app that allows me to sync Music, Podcasts, Videos, and Photos from a modern Mac to my old iPod Video. Two prompts with Fable 5.1 and it was done, works great too.
The app interface
Three more prompts and Claude made an entire website, hosted on Cloudflare where you can download the DMG for free. Also made all the code open source on Github. Took less than an hour to do it all. Wild stuff.
For podcasts, add RSS feeds to the app and then you can sync as many episodes as you’d like. Give it access to your Photos and you can sync albums. Music requires tracks to be outside your Apple Music subscription, but you can add folders of audio files from your Mac as well.
